Shopping with Kids? No Problem!
Bodybeat Group in collaboration with Dolmen Group organized a fun filled tour for mothers and kids at Dolmen Mall, Clifton. The purpose of this tour was to introduce moms to the facilities being provided at the mall to women and children. We had a great experience gaining an insight on the commendable attention that this Mall is giving to ladies particularly mothers, which rarely exists at other public places in town.
1. Ladies Car Parking Facility
Dolmen Mall car park has plenty of women parking spaces so you don't have to compete or hog for a space which wastes a lot of time. The area is spacious hence you can conveniently move around with your strollers and prams. Moreover, it is close to the elevators so you can easily get to all levels of the mall.
2. Baby/ Car Carts
They have introduced the baby carts also called "car-carts" that offer protection and convenience by keeping the child restrained, lower to the ground and amused. You can easily rent them for a few hours and shop around the mall with great convenience.
3. Baby Care Rooms
Don't worry if your baby has an unplanned feeding demand or you encounter a foul-smelling diaper while shopping, survival exists . I'm glad they've understood the pain of the shopaholic in women.
Their toilet block has a baby-friendly restroom with baby feeding space, diaper- changing stations and proper bins for disposal of soiled diapers. The restrooms are regularly kept clean and hygienic despite of receiving a high volume of traffic especially over the weekends. They have 2 to 3 female janitors who are responsible for maintaining the area regularly throughout the day.
4. Medical Aid
There is a Medical Aid station of Aga Khan University Hospital located right next to the female restrooms. In case of a need in an emergency situation medical aid and provisions can be given to the customers by a professional available during the mall timings.
5. Sindbad
Need a couple of uninterrupted shopping time? Why not drop the kids at Sindbad.
Mom, dad and little ones can enjoy some indoor fun games together at Sindbad. It is a great place to let your toddlers enjoy the video games and joy/coin rides. Younger children will enjoy an exciting play structure with a ball pool and slide, wall climbing and craft activities like play dough and painting in the play area. They also have a range of carefully-selected electronic games for older children.
6. Birthday Celebrations
You can celebrate your child's big day with a birthday party at Sindbad. Your child and their guests will enjoy fun-packed hours of activities in the play area, gaming zone and enjoy food at the party area.
So going for shopping with kids has finally become conducive and pleasant. Very few malls in Pakistan have specifically catered the needs of female shoppers with/without kids and Dolmen Mall is definitely on the top. They are not just providing convenience to its customers but also uplifting the sense of family bonding when parents accompany their children and have fun together.
